The picture isn't to clear but I had to post it! (He is pointing to the TV) James LOVES Veggie Tales! He watches the different DVD's and repeats words as the characters are talking. His favorite character, as you can see...is BOB! Bob is our hero, James thinks he is the greatest thing since "peach flavored puffs!" Last weekend we were at the Family Christian Bookstore and a precious friend was also there shopping. She saw how much James loved Veggie Tales and especially the large stuffed Bob. After we left she purchased Bob along with another Veggie Tales treat and surprised us! What a blessing her thoughtfulness was to our family! It was a very exciting night in the Rollins home. On the way home, we let James hold Bob in his car seat and the whole ride home he just kept saying, "Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob!" It was like he was thinking: "the big large wonderful tomato has finally come out of the TV and into my car seat!!"Oh, our new favorite word of the day is "distress." One of his books reads: "to save maidens in distress" and he now likes to say that word. Silly boy!
The boys need to play again soon! Nathan loves Bob too and he tries to say Bob but it comes out without the "b" sound at the end. :)
ReplyDeleteI love little tid bits like this and later you'll be glad to have recorded them :) I don't get to watch as many Veggie Tales as I used to...bigger boys are hooked on Bonanza :)
ReplyDeleteToo Cute! I have the cutest grandson in the whole world! And oh, did forget to tell you how smart he is? He is far ahead of most of his peers and did I mention also that he is practically perfect in everyway! This is spoken from a "Marnie" who is so in love with her "precious James"
