I have been meaning to update the blog for days now but just can't seem to get my act together. Alot has happened in the last month! We are moved into our new home and getting settled. Poor Chad has something I want him to hang all the time but he is a good sport. We finally have all the boxes out of the house and are just working through a few in the garage....moving is no fun! We really love the house, it fits us well. James especially loves his new play room and fun yard! It is so nice being so close to Chad's office, he is able to join us for lunch most days and is home at 5 o' clock most nights! I like Lake City more than I thought I would, there is a great Publix( very important) some nice resturants and yet it is quaint and not to busy. We are visiting churches and praying about were to join. One of the greatest blessings has been our next door neighbors, Ricky and Rachael. We have become friends very qucikly and really enjoy their fellowship, that has definityley made the transition easier!
PS....the house used to be pink! SO thankful Chad got us a great bid to have it repainted before we moved in!
Right after we moved into our house we had our first "Brannen Girls Weekend" in Savannah, Georgia. We had a wonderful time! What a sweet time of fellowship it was for our family! Shopping, eating out and fun girls time!

And the most excititng update of all! We go to court this Wednesday, October 21st to finalize James' adoption! Praise you, Father! We are so grateful to finally be at this place and are humbled by the Lord's kindness in how smooth the process has been. In right under one year, our precious son was placed in our home and his adoption was finalized! Now we can start on number two....
These recent photo's are of our little cowboy! James is quite the ham these days...he is having some challenging toddler moments and has been sick all weekend with a high fever but he continues to make us laugh with his funny little personality. He loves his pumpkin pajamas(thanks Melissa!) his boots, and his cowboy hat. Before bed the other night, Tia (Sarah) was over so we let him wear all three and he was so excited!
